- This fellowship will be provided to a student, or to an advanced postdoctoral or qualified independent scholar who will be based at the Centre for Rupert's Land Studies, contributing to the Centre's activities. Students must have an interest in Indigenous History studies in the region formerly known as Rupert's Land. Their research must involve the use of Hudson's Bay Company Archives at the Archives of Manitoba; and/or focus on the fur trade and Indigenous history of Rupert's Land. The fellowship includes work space. The student is invited and encouraged to participate in and contribute to the work and activities of the Centre for Rupert's Land Studies.
