High-Cost Special Education Program
The dates for the 2026 to 2027 call for proposals to help eligible First Nations students with high-cost special education needs vary by region. Contact your local Regional office to learn more about the dates and process for your region.
Post-Secondary Partnerships Program
This program funds band councils of recognized First Nations bands, organizations designated by band councils and First Nations established post-secondary education institutions. Contact your local Regional office to learn more about the dates and process for your region.
On-reserve Income Assistance program
This program helps eligible on-reserve residents and Status Indians in Yukon cover daily living costs and access pre-employment supports. There's no deadline for this program. You can apply at any time.
Emergency Management FireSmart program
A call for proposals for applications for 2026 to 2027 is now open. There is no deadline to apply. Proposals will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until funding is exhausted.
Emergency Management Non-Structural Mitigation and Preparedness program
The 2026 to 2027 period to submit proposals is now open. Proposals will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until funding is spent.

This program is designed to advance First Nations student achievement in First Nations independent, provincial or territorial schools.
The call for proposals for the Partnerships and Structural Readiness components is now closed. The deadline to submit proposals was December 19, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The Regional Education Agreement Development component will be launched at a later date.
