Dear Chief Frencheater and Council:
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) conducted a number of recipient audits in fiscal year 2012–13, including the recipient audit of Sunchild First Nation. Please find attached the summary of the audit report and full audit report. The management letter and the summary report will be published on the department's website in due time. If you wish, you may provide a written response pertaining to this audit within 30 days. Your response will also be posted on the department's website.
As a result of this recipient audit no recoverable amount has been identified.
The audit report also includes a number of recommendations to assist in improving management practices. We look forward to working together to develop a plan to address the management recommendations.
The issuance of the final letter formally closes this audit. We apologize for the delay.
